Spring is a beautiful time of year in St.
Louis. If you ever have the chance to visit
the Missouri Botanical Garden, it is worth the trip. Gorgeous flowers,
plants and butterflies adorn tranquil displays of color and fragrance.
Although we still have a couple of weeks to go before the trees and
shrubs bloom, signs of spring are already here. I guess since Day
Light Savings time changed early and with Easter falling early in
April this year and since we've had a cold, icy winter, we are all
more than ready for some warm sunshine. I think there are mixed emotions
around the office though. Chris B. and Diana have to keep the tissues
and allergy medicine near for the next couple of months so they might
not be as enthusiastic about greeting springtime as Kelly or Lindsay,
Holly or Nikki for instance - who are looking forward to wearing those
cute new sandals... and pumps... capri pants... sundresses, etc. I
personally have mixed emotions too. Sure, it's warm enough to wash
the car, but it's a lot easier to send it through the car wash. Sure,
it's nice to open all the windows at home but I'll have to dust off
the TV first and mercy, it's hard to get out all those BBQ stains.
Oh, I forgot about the BBQ! Never mind, there are no more mixed emotions.
BBQ=Spring and we love BBQ, so we love spring! Newton's law or something?
