Stuckey & Company Producers Manual ( 55K)

We had a new person start working with us on May 21st. Her name is Libby and she will be helping us out in our underwriting department. Libby recently graduated college. She and I got to talking about what it feels like to complete a long and arduous accomplishment such as earning your diploma. I had been thinking about the topic anyway because my twin boys’ just walked out of their high school for the last time on May 22nd. I remember the looks on their faces when they started kindergarten –excited but a little scared and unsure if they would be able to fit in. And now they walk around with confidence like they are on top of the world, excited, relieved and free! I think new employees have the same anxieties as we all had in kindergarten. I remember my first day here at Stuckey and Company. It isn’t that I wasn’t acting like myself, but I definitely had my best behavior hat on at all times. (Occasionally, I still wear it). I recognize the same hat on every new employee. Driving off the school parking lot for the last time, I guess that feels like leaving your desk Friday afternoon to go on a 10 day trip to the tropics. Maybe someday I’ll know for sure. (I’ll let you know).
