Some of us have worked together for a long time and although we occasionally get together after work, I realized how much that I don’t know about the people I spend the most time with. I asked everybody what they loved to do, hobbies, etc. I found out that
Holly loves to play sand volleyball. I did not know that. Nicole loves fishing and hunting,
Kyle loves anything to do with water. Terri loves gardening. Teresa loves celebrity gossip, Diana and Susan enjoy crafts. Kyle, Kerry, Dwight and Jerry love golf.
I really enjoyed asking the question because, for one: I am curious how my friends spend their time away from work and two, it’s nice to take a break from the insurance world and talk about ourselves and the things that we enjoy most. From what I gathered, most of us at Stuckey and company enjoy hanging out with our family and friends the most. We are pretty fortunate that we all get along for the most part. I certainly couldn’t work with anybody that I’m related to. Knowing that, I have nothing but admiration for the employees here at Stuckey and Company who are related. Kerry and Dwight are brothers. My experience with brothers has been that one is usually trying to strangle the other one on a weekly basis. Yet I have never seen either Stuckey brother in a choke-hold. Chris Irvin and Diana are siblings too. They have never even spoken rudely to each other and they are cubicle neighbors! Teresa and Holly are sister-in-laws and so are Maggie and Shelli and they all are great friends. I’m so inspired. I think I’ll call my sister. Just to say “hi” and that we currently have no job openings.
