 Holly Barker - October Employee of the Month Holly is being honored as Stuckey & Company's October employee of the month and that close parking spot will come in handy for her because she's starting to wobble. I'll tell you about that later. Right now, I want to talk about how proud we are of Holly. She has been with Stuckey & Company since 2001. She started out as our receptionist and worked her way up to becoming one of our best commercial lines underwriters. Now she is the "go-to" person when anyone has questions about coverage. Holly takes pride in her work and it shows. She gets to the bottom of issues and her tenacity pays off. If there is a way to make it work, Holly will find it. She is a real team player too. For example, Holly opens the office for us every day and she makes a pot of coffee for us. Big deal? Holly doesn't even drink coffee. She'll clean out the refrigerator for us and do little things that need to be done. Forget that she's into the "nesting" thing, which happens to first time moms-to-be. That's the way she has always been. Holly hardly ever complains about anything and I LOVE her laugh. She sounds like the Betty and Wilma from the Flintstones. It's so cute. When Holly walks (or more recently, wobbles) into the office, she brings a positive energy with her that brightens the room. Of course she's glowing right now anyway because of the little basketball hidden under her blouse. Man! I swore that she was having at least one boy (I thought there were twins). In fact, I would have bet my jar of nickels on that. Holly is just full of surprises (one surprise for sure) and we're all looking forward to meeting her in March.
